Step 1: Measure the Width (Determine Rod/Track Length and Placement)
If the rod is installed: Measure the rod length and record this measurement.
If the rod is not installed: Decide where to mount the curtain rod above and beside the window frame, considering the desired visual effect.
Step 2: Understand VEILVEIL Default Fullness Setting
To prevent draperies from appearing stretched, it’s important to account for fullness.
Fullness is integrated into the design, using 200-230% fabric fullness to create rich, voluminous pleats.
This means no extra width for fullness is necessary, as it is already included in the curtain processing.
The default fullness is 1 (or 100%). For the final measured width, consider adding 150-200% fullness. A 150% fullness offers a tailored look, while 200% fullness, which is recommended, creates a richer, more opulent appearance.
